The searching of new systems for coating exterior Flooring areas has provided new opportunities in the area of crushed Spanish marbles.
New trends and environmental requirements in urban and exterior soil have spurred technological innovation in the Spanish stone aggregates sector.
We have moved on from crushed stone (which is still used for façades and decorative features) to new coating systems that represent an innovative breakthrough in the crushed stone treatment.
The current requirements of natural origin, permeability, non-slipping and endurance that some countries oblige for the exterior areas (UK i.e.) have caused an adaptation of the crushed stones to be used in resin bound applications, being mixed with polyurethane resin for draining pavements.
That kind of application is very useful for driveways, patios, walkways and other exterior areas, thus the Spanish crushed stone has been adapted to these new coating systems.
Resin bound natural stone flooring application
The stone aggregates are subjected to a transformation in different phases:
.- Semi rounding: With a tumbled system that smooth the sharp angles of the stones.
.- Exhaustive drying by heat to avoid almost all the humidity (necessary for the resin impregnation)
.- Cleaning to avoid any dust for a perfect bind.

CREMA MARFIL AGGREGATES
With its warm creamy beige tone of color, very suitable for its aesthetical adaptation in any type of ambience
ROJO ALICANTE AGGREGATES
Very demanded for its color, Rojo Alicante stone provides a vivid red for being used in play areas, walkways, patios, alone or combined with other colors
WHITE SPANISH AGGREGATES
Quarried on the south of Spains this medium grain agregate with its white color resemblances andalusies scents.
GREY STONE AGGREGATES
Light grey marble with soft variations in aggregates, providing a nice light grey color. Also available in dark grey tone of color.
ROSA VALENCIA AGGREGATES
Pink-orange color, from quarries of the Crema Valencia old marble, sparkling color if aiming to give vitality to the areas to be filled.
BLACK STONE AGGREGATES
Deep black color stone aggregates, useful for details on drawings combined with the different grey stone aggregates.
