When talking about stone heritage in Mallorca it is named the Binissalem stone, sourced from the ancient quarries of the island, has been widely used in palaces, farms, and also walling the lands. Once exhausted the quarries, it was necessary to find a substitute, and found in the GRIS ZARCI STONE.
Gris Zarci is a fine grain earth grey – beige stone especially nice in the finish bushammered & brushed, where provides a rustic and warm appearance due to its rough surface but softer to the touch.
In this case the project was focused on a rectangular size, Gris Zarci stone tiles in 80×40, able to cover big areas without being complicated to install.
For the main room the size used was the 120×60, to cover properly in conversation with the old curved arches and the panoramic windows.
